Description

Iris halophila  is a species in the genus Iris, it is also in the subgenus Limniris  and in series Spuriae. It is a rhizomatous perennial plant, with yellow, white or violet flowers. Rhizome, flowers and seeds: sweet, light, cool. Clearing heat and removing toxins, diuretic, stopping bleeding. Seeds: used for sore throat, vomiting blood, menstruation. Flower: used for carbuncles and boils. Rhizome: used for hemorrhoids.
