Description
Chimonanthus salicifolius, a member of the Calycanthaceae of magnoliids, is one of the most famous medicinal plants in Eastern China. The leaves of C. salicifolius have been used as traditional medicine to relieve diarrhea symptoms by people of the She nationality for hundreds of years in Eastern China, and its definite curative effects have earned C. salicifolius the title of “the uncrowned king of traditional She nationality medicine”.
